Ozer in his own words: “I’ve learned a lot from and about life, most of all that I have a lot yet to learn.”
Ozer Bergman has been practicing hitbodedut for over 35 years. He is the author of Where Earth and Heaven Kiss, a how-to guide to doing hitbodedut. He has taught this and other subjects for close to 40 years, to children as old as four and as young as 90, at schools, yeshivas, Shabbatonim (as scholar-in-residence), in Jerusalem, Uman, New York, LA, Montana and across Europe. He was born in Crown Heights, Brooklyn and attended Yeshiva of South Shore and Yeshiva University High School (Manhattan). He majored in Philosophy at Johns Hopkins University. While in his junior year at Harvard, he was introduced to the teachings of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov, and has been in love with them ever since. He lives with his family in Jerusalem, the Holy City. He would be very happy doing hitbodedut all day long. Visit him at his blog, 148west.com.
